Sell crypto at your counter in San Antonio

San Antonio's West and South Sides run on neighbourhood retail — mercados, check cashers, panaderías and convenience stores serving households that are paid in cash and send money to Mexico as a matter of routine.

The retail opportunity in San Antonio

San Antonio is one of the largest majority-Hispanic metros in the United States, with a settled rather than newly arrived population and a correspondingly mature neighbourhood retail economy. The stores are established, family-run and often multi-generational.

That maturity is useful. A store that has served the same blocks for twenty years has exactly the standing this product needs, and its customers are not being asked to trust a newcomer with something unfamiliar.

    On the ground

Where the counters are in San Antonio

Mercados and panaderías, check cashers, convenience stores, money transfer agencies, tax preparation offices, phone shops. These are the formats the program was designed around, and the neighbourhoods below are where they cluster.

    Neighbourhoods and corridors

West Side — Zarzamora, Guadalupe · South Side · East Side · Northwest — Bandera Road corridor · Southeast — Roosevelt Avenue

    Store formats that fit

Mercados and panaderías, check cashers, convenience stores, money transfer agencies, tax preparation offices, phone shops.

    Where the money is sent

Mexico, Honduras, Guatemala — the corridors that drive stablecoin demand at a San Antonio counter.

    Languages at the counter

Spanish, English. Serving a customer in their own language is the single biggest advantage a counter has over an app.

    The arithmetic

What a single transaction is worth to the store

You keep a share of every order. Bigger order, bigger share. The examples below use 1% to 3% — your own rate is in your agreement.

Illustrative store revenue by order size at a 1% to 3% revenue share
At the counterOrder sizeStore keeps (low)Store keeps (high)
A customer cashes a check and puts part of it into Bitcoin$200$2.00$6.00
A regular buys USDT to send to family overseas$500$5.00$15.00
A customer sells crypto and takes the cash$1,000$10.00$30.00
A small business owner buys on payday, every other week$2,500$25.00$75.00
One larger order, the kind an ATM's daily cap refuses$10,000$100.00$300.00

The figures above are worked examples, not projected or guaranteed earnings. They show how the arithmetic works on a given order size at an illustrative revenue-share range. Your actual rate is set in your agent agreement, and what any individual store earns depends on its foot traffic, its neighbourhood, its hours and how many customers it serves. Anytime Capital does not promise any level of income.

    • A money order earns you cents. A wire earns a flat fee, however big it is. This does not.
    • No monthly fee. No minimum. Nothing to buy back before the first dollar is yours.
    • Your customer pays our normal published price. Your share does not change it.

Settled communities behave differently from new ones

In cities built on recent migration, remittance is urgent and frequent. In a settled market like San Antonio's West Side, the pattern is more mixed — some households send regularly, many do not, and a larger share of crypto interest is domestic saving and speculation rather than corridor-driven.

That changes the product mix at the counter. Bitcoin tends to carry more of the volume here relative to stablecoins than it does in a heavily corridor-driven market like Houston's southwest.

It also means the store's own reputation does more of the work. Long-established family businesses convert customers faster here than newer storefronts do.

What a San Antonio store actually signs up to

Your employee signs in at retail.anytime-capital.com, verifies the customer once, places the order and takes the payment at the counter. There is no machine to install, no crypto for the store to hold and no float to fund.

Anytime Capital is the registered money services business behind the transaction and carries the customer identification programme, the monitoring and the reporting. Your store is a serving location, and your existing licences remain yours with their own obligations.

Onboarding is a compliance review and a training session. Nothing is delivered to your address, and there is nothing to earn back before the first order is profitable.

    Frequently Asked Questions

Is demand here mostly Bitcoin or stablecoins?

More weighted toward Bitcoin than in heavily corridor-driven markets, because a larger share of interest is domestic rather than remittance-driven. Both are supported.

Do older family-run stores do well with this?

Generally better than newer ones. The product runs on trust, and a store that has served the same blocks for decades has more of it than any amount of signage can buy.

Do I need a licence of my own to do this?

Not to act as a serving location for Anytime Capital's platform. Anytime Capital is the registered money services business and carries the compliance programme for the activity. State law varies, so what applies to your specific store is confirmed during onboarding, and nothing here is legal advice.

Is there any equipment to install?

None. The platform runs in a browser on a phone, tablet or the PC already behind your counter. There is no kiosk, no floor space requirement and no monthly platform fee.

How long does it take to serve a customer?

One to two minutes for a first-time customer, because their identity is verified once. Under a minute for everyone after that.
